Let’s face it. We all deal with challenges, and we all have choices about how to face them. You don’t have to go through a catastrophic accident like I did, to understand what I’m talking about.
While I was in the hospital healing from my injuries, and learning to accept that I would live the rest of my life as a woman with disabilities, I didn’t always know what to do. It took me years to fully accept this massive change in my life. Before the accident, I was committed to helping people in need. After the accident, I became one of the very people that I was committed to helping.
But, I chose to thrive, not just survive my life. I read countless article, books, learned about different motivational speakers and explored different works of art. Slowly, I began to assemble the best of everything that I found, and eleven years later I’m proud to say that the six steps I chose to help me thrive, continue to work for me time and again. I’m most excited to share these six steps, with you.
In no particular order, my wish is that you take these tools and use them to live a full and thriving life, whatever you may face. And I want to hear about your experiences. Please share these steps and this post with the people you love most, and let me know in the comments field below what you do to thrive in your life, on a day to day basis.
